Features of FRP sand pipe 1. Lightweight and high strength: the specific gravity is 1.65~2.0. For the unit length weight of the same pipe diameter, only 1/3 of the carbon steel, 1/5 of the FRP pipe, and 1/10 of the prestressed concrete pipe. This reduces the cost of hoisting and increases the installation speed during construction. .
2. Good hydraulic characteristics: This characteristic is particularly prominent in the field of water supply and drainage, with a relatively smooth inner surface, so its hydraulic characteristics are good.
(1) The pumping cost of the pipe network can be saved. For cast iron pipes of the same caliber, FRP can save 30%-40% of pumping costs.
(2) Reduce the pipe diameter size. For the same flow rate, using sand-wound FRP pipes, the pipe diameter can be reduced by 10-25%, thereby saving investment costs.
(3) Shorten the pumping time, especially suitable for concentrated water or intermittent water, saving 1/3 of the pumping time and cost.

Three, the main molding process

Controlled by the computer, the inner lining is made on the core mold according to the same process as the fiber-wound fiberglass steel pipe. After gelling, the structural layer is wound according to the designed line type and thickness, and the mortar mixed with quartz sand and resin is wound on the structure. In the layer, the outer protective layer is finally wound.
